League of Legends: How To Activate XP Boost




Grinding an account to level 30 can be a tedious and boring task, at least until blind and draft picks are unlocked at levels 3 and 10, respectively. This guide aims to inform you about XP boosts and their 2 variants: Duration-based and Win-based XP boosts.


Duration-based boosts double the base XP from any game, whereas win-based boosts add a flat amount of around 216 XP per game. The amount of time played in a game does not affect this boost's reward.


XP boosts are automatically activated once purchased.

For example, if you're playing an AD champion, a common item to purchase is a pickaxe for 875 gold, which gives +25 AD. The pickaxe can be built into several items, such as Ironspike Whip, Blade of the Ruined King, or Kraken Slayer. The shop has several interfaces that take some time to get used to.
